From the moment I met Jaclyn and Richard for coffee in Hamilton, I knew they were going to be a great couple to photograph!
The wedding day started off with champagne and nibbles at Jaclyn’s home as the girl’s had their hair done and the final make up touches were applied.
The bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in their dusky pink dresses and Jaclyn looked as pretty as a picture with her wedding gown on and veil pinned in. As she walked down the staircase to greet her Mum and Dad, she looked so elegant and composed.
I then travelled to St Augustine’s Church in Hamilton to meet Richard and the Groomsmen. After a few snaps of the boys outside the church, it was almost 3.30pm and time for Jaclyn to walk down the aisle.
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of the beautiful little flower girl’s all lined up outside the church waiting eagerly for Jaclyn to arrive. The cutest part was yet to come, when the first two flower girls walked straight passed the aisle, and almost back outside again! 🙂 With a little guidance from one of their Mum’s they were back on track and ready to witness a beautiful wedding ceremony with Jaclyn and Richard’s family and friends.
Myself and the bridal party then met at Newstead House for some photographs by the banks of the Brisbane river before heading onto Brett’s Wharf for the couple’s reception.
Richard and Jaclyn, it was lovely to meet you both! And I wish you so much happiness in your married life together.
